Keith E. Davis received his B.S. degrees in Political Science and History in 1971 from Iowa State University. In 1978, Mr. Davis received his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law, graduating with Highest Honors. He was a member of the Board of Editors and Notes and Comments Editor of St. Mary's University Law Review. He was also a member of the academic honorary, the Harlan Society.

Mr. Davis clerked for Judge Ted Z. Robertson at the 5th Court of Civil Appeals in Dallas and was an associate with Seay, Gwinn, Crawford, Mebus & Blakeney. He worked for Hunt International Resources, and, for eighteen years immediately prior to opening his private practice, was counsel for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, SBC Communications Inc. and several of its affiliates – now known as AT&T, Inc. Mr. Davis is the Immediate Past President of the Plano Bar Association, has served as a board member of the Collin County Bar Association, is Chairperson of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Dallas Bar Association and is a member of the Texas and Missouri State Bar Associations. Mr. Davis is also a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas and of the Estate Planning Council of North Texas.
